garden party

I got quite a surprise this morning when I saw our zucchini had doubled in size over night. This is the first thing that has grown to almost-maturation in our garden, that has not yet been eaten by a squirrel or awful slugs. How exciting!*

Here are a few more pictures of what's growing in our garden... the yellow squash is still continuing to look super cute, you'll see!




I can't wait for those tomatoes to ripen.

*please note that my excitement over the-first-thing-ever-to-fully-grow-in-our-garden is also accompanied by a pleasing sense of not having killed yet another plant. I'm lookin at you, stupid ivy plant!
