Mason Jar Make Overs

Mason jars are definitely one of my favorite blank canvases. Here are a couple creative make-overs for old mason jars to get your week rolling creatively.

I think the "in process" photo (top), with the dripping paint, is almost more beautiful than the end result.

And here's a tutorial for making basic old mason jars look like classic aqua ones. A classic vintage blue ball mason jar can definitely run you a pretty petty - ranging from $5 to $20 - so this could be an awesome alternative.

I think those old salsa and pasta jars I've been saving are aching for a make over. Well, it's either that, or Tom said I have to recycle them. What, everybody doesn't keep at least twenty empty jars around?

I love the dripping paint one myself-- I think if I made a set I would not tape them and embrace the dripiness!
