On the Road

Our trailer in Marfa.

Max chillin' inside the trailer.

Things have been excessively quiet on the Pommes Frites blog recently, and I hope I haven't lost too many readers' attention (I'm looking at you, Mom).

The past couple months have been a flurry of goodbyes, working, packing, working, cleaning, and checking items off our Texas bucket list. In truth, I needed to spend some personal time with Texas - personal time I didn't feel like blogging about.

All of our belongings are packed into a POD - except for our animals, some clothing, and records.

Which brings us to present: Tom and I are currently in Tuscon, AZ, three days into our cross country road trip. Our LBC apartment isn't ready until the 5th, so we're taking the scenic route - stopping off in Marfa, TX to stay at the amazing El Cosmico trailers and Carlsbad, NM to check out the world famous caverns, all the while celebrating my favorite holiday of the year (SHARK WEEK) in motels along the way.

My card reader is packed, so in the meantime, here are some pictures I've taken with my phone. I'll be back soon with more posts; hope you'll join me and Pommes Frites in our new chapter on the west coast!

Nothing says freedom on the open road like a sweet dream catcher.

I'm about to take a similar trip/move but to Oregon! We're also traveling with a dog and two cats.
